You contact santé24 by phone or digitally. After a quick step to identify yourself, you speak directly with a medical expert from the online practice. This is when you'll undergo the first assessment, medical or psychotherapeutic treatment by the specialist or psychotherapist team, or be given a referral to a different internal or external health specialist.
The santé24 online practice is available round the clock – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – including on bank holidays and at weekends.
An interdisciplinary team of doctors, psychotherapists and non-medical health experts who are specialised in digital advice and treatment will provide you with personalised guidance.
From acute symptoms such as fever or chest pains to chronic or mental issues – the online practice is the first medical point of contact.
For many SWICA customers, using the santé24 online practice as a benefit of their insurance is steeply discounted or completely covered.
The online practice recommends your next steps for you specifically, depending on the urgency and the specialisation, and if our doctors ascertain the need for a follow-up with an external specialist or therapy, they will refer you directly.
santé24 is licensed by the Canton of Zurich to provide medical treatment. In addition, santé24 has been recognised as an outpatient psychological psychotherapy organisation.
